Testimonials

We had an elopement ceremony in Ireland while travelling from Australia. Cara was great at getting everything organised without much notice and really helped the day go smoothly, and even took us on a tour to find the perfect spot! It was a beautiful ceremony, thank you Cara, it’s clear that you absolutely love what you do!”

Annie & Coen Buckley, Queensland, Australia

“Cara gave so much of her time and thought to all the details. She provided us with the best ideas and examples of vows that made planning from the US very easy. Cara is very professional, sweet, and knowledgeable. She completely exceeded our expectations, and we feel very blessed and thankful to have found her.”

Joff and Michele Clarke, Mississippi USA

“My wife and I renewed our vows during our trip to Ireland with a Celtic handfasting. Cara took a process that seemed daunting and confusing, and made it a breeze. Cara took the time to get to know us, and really listened to what we were looking for in a ceremony. She scouted out multiple options for a venue and helped us find the PERFECT location (a remote waterfall). She helped us find a talented photographer. She tailored a beautiful ceremony exactly to our wishes, with abundant communication to be certain that we were happy with every aspect. When the day of the ceremony came, she performed it wonderfully. Cara is a warm, friendly, genuine individual. She helped us create memories for a lifetime. I cannot recommend her strongly enough.”

Have you considered combining your Elopement in Kerry with a festival or event?

If you and your partner are considering an elopement in Kerry, you might like to arrange the dates around a festival or event that is taking place where you will get a chance to really experience the culture and interact with locals. You could choose an event that incorporates an activity or shared interest that may have even brought you together in the first place. Here are a few of my favourite events that take place annually.

Quest Killarney: Quest Killarney is the biggest and best adventure race that takes places annually in Killarney early in October. Test yourself running, cycling, and kayaking in some of Ireland’s most rugged landscapes and enjoy the breath-taking scenery of Killarneys National Park. Quest attracts top endurance athletes and competitors from around the world. There are 5 distinct levels ranging from a 27Km challenge to an 83km Expert route. Just the sort of challenge you need after saying the words “I do”! Elite Event Management run Quest Killarney along with several other adventure sport events including cycling events Ride Dingle (April) and The Ring of Beara Cycle Kenmare (May).

Ireland BikeFest: This is a 3-day international festival that takes place annually the first weekend in June in Killarney. While it is primarily a motorbike enthusiast festival it is also a music extravaganza attracting thousands of locals and visitors each year. The festival Bike Village has 3 large music venues and is a hive of activity day and night with entertainment, food, drink, and merchandise stalls.

Siamsa Tire: Tralee is home to Siamsa Tire, the National Folk Theatre of Ireland. The Theatre brings to life Irish folklore through music, dance, and song. There calendar of events can include theatre, comedy, musicals, live music, singer songwriters and more.

Listowel Writers Week: Listowel is where stories begin, and everyone has a story to share! A town famous for its authors and storytellers it is no surprise that this town has its own weeklong writer’s festival that takes place at the end of May each year. The festival is Irelands oldest literary and arts festival.

4th of July Celebrations: Killarney uses this opportunity to welcome and honour all our American friends and visitors. It is an action packed, fun filled day including a spectacular parade, street party, concert, outdoor cinema, and fireworks.

Dingle Food Festival: This takes place over two days in Early October in the beautiful fishing village of Dingle, where local, regional, and national food producers come to the town to share their produce. Festivalgoers purchase a book of taste trail tickets and can then visit over 70 venues around the town offering tastings of the best food and drink Kerry has to offer.

Christmas in Killarney: This celebration of Christmas runs annually over the month of December and early January. The town is lit up in festive decoration bringing the joy and magic of Christmas to life. Each year the festival programme changes but it always includes a spectacular line up of parades, carol services, concerts, markets and even an Ice Rink!
